Everything in the heavens and everything on the earth glorifies God—the King, the Holy, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Everything in the heavens and everything on the earth glorifies God—the King, the Holy, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
It is He who raised among the unlettered a messenger from among them, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom, though before they were clearly astray.
And others among them who have not yet joined them. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
That is God’s grace—He grants it to whom He wills. God is the Possessor of immense grace.
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah then failed to carry it is like a donkey carrying volumes of books. Wretched is the example of the people who denied God’s verses. God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Say, “O you who are Jewish, if you claim that you are God’s allies to the exclusion of all other people, then wish for death, if you are truthful.”
But they will never wish for it because of what their hands have sent ahead. God is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
Say, “Truly, the death you flee from will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will inform you of what you used to do.”
O you who believe, when the call to prayer is made on the day of congregation, hasten to the remembrance of God and leave off trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
When the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land and seek God’s grace, and remember God often, so that you may prosper.
Yet when they saw a transaction or amusement, they rushed toward it and left you standing. Say, “What is with God is better than amusement and trade. God is the Best of providers.”
