On the Day when you will see it: every nursing mother will discard her infant, and every pregnant woman will abort her load, and you will see the people drunk, even though they are not drunk—but the punishment of Allah is severe.

On the Day when you will see it: every nursing mother will discard her infant, and every pregnant woman will abort her load, and you will see the people drunk, even though they are not drunk—but the punishment of God is severe.
On that day, you'll see mothers forgetting the babies they're feeding, and pregnant women will give birth to their babies. You'll see people looking confused and lost, even though they're not — but Allah's punishment is very strong.
On that Day, you'll see every nursing mother forget the baby she's nursing, and every pregnant woman will lose her unborn child. You'll see people acting drunk, even though they're not drunk — but Allah's punishment is truly severe.
