Lost are those who kill their children foolishly, with no basis in knowledge, and forbid what Allah has provided for them—innovations about Allah. They have gone astray. They are not guided.

Lost are those who kill their children foolishly, with no basis in knowledge, and forbid what God has provided for them—innovations about God. They have gone astray. They are not guided.
Those who foolishly harmed their own children without knowing, and who made forbidden the good things Allah gave them by making up lies about Allah — they have truly lost. They have gone far away from the right path, and they aren't guided.
Those who foolishly killed their children without knowledge, and who wrongly forbid what Allah provided for them by making up lies about Allah — they have truly lost. They have gone far astray and were never guided.
