The Racers · al-'Adiyat · سورة العاديات · 11 ayahs

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

By the charging horses, panting.

Striking sparks with their hooves.

Raiding at dawn.

Raising clouds of dust.

Plunging into the midst of the foe.

Truly, man is ungrateful to his Lord.

He himself is a witness to that.

And in his love of wealth, he is fierce.

Does he not know that when what is in the graves is overturned.

And what is in the hearts is laid bare.

Surely their Lord, that Day, is fully Aware of them?
