The Striking Calamity.
The Shocker · al-Qari'ah · سورة القارعة · 11 ayahs
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
What is the Striking Calamity?
And what will make you know what the Striking Calamity is?
A Day when people will be like scattered moths.
And the mountains will be like carded wool.
As for the one whose scales are heavy.
He will be in a pleasing life.
But as for the one whose scales are light.
His mother is the Abyss.
And what will make you know what it is?
A scorching Fire.
