إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
Truly, We sent it down on the Night of Decree.
Decree · al-Qadr · سورة القدر · 5 ayahs
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
What will make you know what the Night of Decree is?
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
The angels and the Spirit descend in it, by their Lord’s permission, with every command.
سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
It is peace until the rising of dawn.
