And so it was. We had full knowledge of what he had.

And so it was. We had full knowledge of what he had.

That's how it was. We knew all about what he was doing.

That's how it was. We knew all about his situation.

So it was. And We had encompassed all that he possessed in knowledge.

So it was. And We had full knowledge of everything he had.

So it was. And We had full knowledge of everything he had.

Thus.797 And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).

So it was, and We had full knowledge about him1.

(He left them) as they were: We completely understood what was before him.

So (it was). And We knew all concerning him.

Thus indeed it was. We had full knowledge of him.

Thus was the state of those people, and We encompassed in knowledge all concerning Dhu al- Qarnayn.

So it was, and We were fully aware of whatever [means] he possessed.

Kathalika waqad ahatna bima ladayhi khubran
