And leave them desolate waste.

He'll leave the earth flat and smooth.

Leaving the earth flat and empty.

He will leave them a flat, barren plain.

And reduce them into a desolate waste.

And He will leave it [i.e., the earth] a level plain;

"Then He shall leave them as a level smooth plain.

and He will leave the earth level and plain,

"He will leave them as plains smooth and level;

And leave it as an empty plain,

and leave the earth level and bare,

and leave the earth a levelled plain

Then He will leave it a level plain.
