Ash-Shu'ara' 26:3

Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief, because they do not become believers.

Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief, because they do not become believers.

You might feel so sad that they don't believe.

You might worry yourself to death because they won't believe.

Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe.

Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief: because they do not become believers.

Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief: because they do not become believers.

Perhaps, [O Muḥammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.

It may be that you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) i.e. in your Message of Islâmic Monotheism].1

Perhaps you1 will grieve yourself to death because they do not believe.

It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers.

It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not.

It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe.

(O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe.

You are liable to imperil your life [out of distress] that they will not have faith.
