Al-Jinn 72:6

Some individual humans used to seek power through some individual jinn, but they only increased them in confusion.

Some individual humans used to seek power through some individual jinn, but they only increased them in confusion.

Some people used to ask jinn for protection, but this only made things harder for them.

And some humans used to ask protection from some jinn, but that only made them more afraid and troubled.

And there were men among humans who sought refuge with men among the jinn, so they increased them in burden.

And some individual humans used to seek power through some individual jinn, but they only increased them in confusion.

And some individual humans used to seek power through some individual jinn, but they only increased them in confusion.

And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden [i.e., sin].

‘And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the males among the jinn, but they (jinn) increased them (mankind) in sin and transgression.

And there were some men who used to seek refuge with some jinn, but they only increased them in burden.

'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly.

And indeed (O Muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against Allah);

Some men used to seek refuge with the jinn in the past, but that only increased their insolence.

and that “some from among the humans used to seek protection of some among the jinn, and thus they increased the arrogance of the jinn”;

Indeed some persons from the humans would seek the protection of some persons from the jinn, thus only adding to their rebellion.

Waannahu kana rijalun mina alinsi yaAAoothoona birijalin mina aljinni fazadoohum rahaqan
