On the Day when some faces will be whitened, and some faces will be blackened. As for those whose faces are blackened: “Did you disbelieve after your belief?” Then taste the punishment for having disbelieved.
On the Day when some faces will be bright, and some faces will be dark — those with dark faces will be asked, "Did you stop believing after you had believed? Now taste the punishment because you didn't believe."
On the Day when some faces will shine bright, and some faces will turn dark — those whose faces turn dark will be told, "Did you reject faith after believing? Now taste the punishment for rejecting the truth."
On the Day when faces turn white and faces turn black. As for those whose faces turn black: “Did you disbelieve after your faith? Then taste the punishment for your disbelief.”
