Aforetime, as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.
Before, as guidance for people. And He sent down the Book that teaches right from wrong. Those who don't believe in Allah's verses will have a painful punishment. Allah is mighty and can punish strongly.
