Al-Waqi'ah 56:46

And they used to persist in immense wrongdoing.

And they used to persist in immense wrongdoing.

And kept doing very bad things.

And kept on doing terrible wrongs.

And they persisted in the great sin.

And they persisted in immense wrongdoing.

And they persisted in immense wrongdoing.

And they used to persist in the great violation,1612

And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allâh, committing murder and other crimes)2

and persisted in the gravest sin1.

And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme!

And used to persist in the awful sin.

and they persisted obstinately in awful sin,

and had persisted in the Great Sin.

and they used to persist in the great sin.
