Al-Layl 92:8

But as for him who is stingy and complacent.

But as for him who is stingy and complacent.

But whoever is stingy and thinks they don't need Allah.

But as for the one who is stingy, and thinks he doesn't need anyone.

As for he who was stingy and thought himself self-sufficient.

But as for him who is stingy and indifferent.

But as for him who is stingy and indifferent.

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient.2

But as for the one who is miserly and deems himself self-sufficient,

But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient,

But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent,

But as for one who is miserly and unheeding,

As for him who was a miser and behaved with aversion (to Allah),

But as for him, who is stingy and self-complacent,

Waamma man bakhila waistaghna
