Al-Waqi'ah 56:85

We are nearer to it than you are, but you do not see.

We are nearer to it than you are, but you do not see.

And We're closer to that person than you are, but you can't see Us.

While We are closer to them than you — but you can't see.

And We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see.

We are closer to it than you are, but you cannot see.

We are closer to it than you are, but you cannot see.

And We [i.e., Our angels] are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -

But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, (Tafsir At-Tabarî)

when We are closer1 to him than you, but you do not see?

But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-

- And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not -

and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us --

– at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us)

—and We are nearer to him than you are, though you do not perceive—

Wanahnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum walakin la tubsiroona
